Two Indian-Origin Stars Picked as Australia Names U-19 Squad for India Series New

Australia has named a 15-member squad for the upcoming home series against India Under-19, starting September 21 in Mackay. The squad includes two players of Indian origin — batter Aryan Sharma from Victoria and all-rounder Yash Deshmukh from New South Wales.
Five players from New South Wales feature in the team, which will play five matches across formats until October 10. The series will also mark Tim Nielsen’s first assignment as coach of the U-19 side. Nielsen previously coached the senior Australian men’s team from 2007 to 2011.

Simon Budge, Alex Turner, Steve Hogan, Will Malajczuk, Yash Deshmukh, Tom Hogan, Aryan Sharma, John James, Hayden Schiller, Charles Lachmund, Ben Gordon, Will Byrom, Kasey Barton, Alex Lee Young, Jayden Draper.
Reserves: Zed Hollick, Tom Paddington, Julian Osborne.
