Shankar Pratishthan invites scholarship applications from MBBS students

Dr. P.S. Shankar Pratishthan has invited applications from meritorious students admitted to first-year MBBS courses in August and September 2025 for a monthly scholarship of ₹1,500 to be provided until the completion of their course.

In a press release here on Thursday, pratishthan secretary Narendra Badsheshi has said that students who have cleared their PU examination in April-May 2025 and secured admission to MBBS courses in medical colleges in the State are eligible to apply.

Application forms can be downloaded from the pratishthan’s website: www.psshankarpratistan.in.

The scholarship, he said, is aimed at students from economically weaker sections of society. Preference will be given to those who pursued education up to PU in Kannada medium. Along with the applications, candidates must submit a handwritten note giving details of their economic background, attaching their PU marks card, NEET scorecard and an attestation from the principal of the medical college where they are enrolled.
