Body recovered from open drain in Kalaburagi

The body of an 18-year-old youth who was swept away in a drain during heavy rain was found in a storm-water drain at M.B. Nagar here on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Muzamil Siddique Ahmed, a resident of Naya Mohalla in Jawahar Hind Colony in the city. He went missing on Saturday night.

According to sources, the youth might have fallen into the drain during heavy rainfall on Saturday night. He was found dead in the drain on Sunday morning.

After a search by his family members for Muzamil in various places went in vain, a missing complaint was filed at M.B. Nagar Police Station.
