Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad for Milad-un-Nabi processions on September 14

HYDERABAD

Hyderabad Traffic Police will be imposing traffic restrictions on September 14 in view of Milad-un-Nabi peace processions marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed. The processions will be carried out across the city between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The main procession will be on the Five Routes: Falaknuma to Volta Hotel Via Charminar, Yahiya Pasha Dargah to Volta Hotel and Back, Mecca Masjid to Hajid Pattarghatti to Alijah Kotla.

Traffic Will Either Stopped or Diverted at Several Junks and Routes Depending on the Movement. These include Falaknuma, Engine Bowli, Nagulchinta X Road, Himmatpura Junction, Volga, Haribowli, Panch Mohalla, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Pattarghatti, Madina Junction, Nayapul, Sj Rotary Junction, Darulshifa, Purani Haveli, Mir Alam Mandi, ETBAR Chowk, Alijah Kotla, Bibi Bazaar, Volta Hotel, Afzalgunj T Junction, Osman Gunj, MJ Market Junction, Nampally, Nampally Haj house and ar petrol pump, nampally.

People have been told to avoid these junctions and instead use alternative routes to prevent congestion. In case of emergencies, commuters can contact the traffic helpline on 9010203626 for assistance.

Police have appealed to the public to cooperate with traffic diversions and extend support for the smooth conduct of the processions.
