Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon 2025 semi-final held across A.P.

As part of the ‘Amaravati Quantum Valley Hackathon (AQVH) 2025’-A National Initiative Designed to Unlock Student -Driven Innovation The Semi-Final Rounds Of The Event We Held Across Five Campuses-Gayatri Vidya Parishad, Visakhapatnam, SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, Dhanekula Institute of English Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupathi and JNTU Anantapur.
Headed by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), these hackathons spotlight the Amaravati Quantum Valley as a future-ready hub for deep-tech solutions across critical sectors such as Defence, logistics, drug discovery, agriculture, and finance.
A statement released said that the idea is to empower students to tackle real-world challenges sourced from Ministries, government departments, PSUs, leading tech giants, and NGOs. With support from top organisations like DST, IBM, TCS, Google, and Microsoft. The hackathon aims to be a talent magnet and a launchpad for transformative ideas.
The online round of the semi-final event, saw participation of students from states like Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
As many as 293 teams comprising 1,758 students engaged in several hours of learning, brainstorming, boot camps, internal hackathons and dreaming – all working to solve 10 real-world problem statements.
Some teams went beyond ideas, and built working prototypes and powerful use of cases that can shape industries and transform lives.
The goal is to ensure that by the time the 156-qubit IBM Quantum Machine is commissioned at the Amaravati Quantum Valley, India will have a strong, passionate pool of innovators ready to serve, create, and disrupt.
