Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad has rolled out India’s first AI-powered learning app for students preparing for competitive exams. The app named Tutoz was developed by Revin Techno Solutions, a start-up incubated in IIT Palakkad.
Mentored by IIT faculty, Tutoz stands out with its accessible, affordable and tailored learning approach. Led by experts Sreenath Vijayakumar (IIT Palakkad) and Satyajit Das (IIT Guwahati), this AI-driven platform will support students in preparing for top exams like JEE, NEET and CAT.
With features like instant doubt resolution (text, voice, or image), daily practice sessions, custom learning modules, and gamified leaderboards, this platform motivates students to learn. Additionally, subject-wise smart notebooks and offline-friendly design ensure seamless access, even on basic smartphones.
IIT Palakkad officials said that the app would be available on the Google Play Store, making it accessible to students across India. According to them, the platform will empower students to turn every doubt into a stepping stone for success.
Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan launched the app at a function at IIT Palakkad last month. IIT Palakkad director Seshadri Sekhar and Dr. Vijayakumar were present.
Mr. Pradhan said that the initiative would bolster India’s digital education mission and bridge the gap for rural and aspiring youth, bringing equitable learning opportunities within their reach.
